Our next Holiday spotlight is one of our MMC shop Makers Bay Blue. Collingwood local and UofG student, Aysia creates beautiful and functional ceramic wear perfect for all your hot meal and beverage needs this Winter! She is also the creator of Mountain Momma Collective’s labour and nursing grounding stones.
“Bay Blue is inspired by Georgian Bay and Blue Mountain. I work to create ceramic art that is
both beautiful and functional. Each piece is unique and reflects the beauty of nature. What I
find really unique about pottery, is the fact that the each piece created, if properly taken care
of, will last for hundreds of years. With that, I make a point of creating pieces that won’t collect
dust, and ultimately have a purpose. Sustainability is important to me and I try to be as cautious
as possible throughout the entire pottery process. Each piece is dishwasher, food and oven
This year, Bay Blue will be at one market, the Collingwood Holiday Artisan Market at the
Georgian Bay Hotel on December 15 th , from 5pm – 10pm. This holiday season you can also buy
grounding stones from the awesome Mountain Momma Collective and some pieces are
available at the Georgian Artisan Shop in Thornbury, as well as on my website,
www.bayblue.co. I wish you anamzing holiday season! Cheers!”
Happy Shopping Mommas!
