DIY Bath Soak

Bath soaks are great for much more than just relaxation. Of course, a soothing salt bath is great for that too, but the benefits go well beyond a way to decompress at the end of a stressful day.

Benefits of bath soaks include:

  • Stress relief

  • Reducing muscle aches

  • Improving circulation

  • Headache relief

  • Speeding up wound healing (don’t use on direct open wounds)

  • During illness, especially respiratory illness

  • To help mineral absorption and improve sleep in children

  • For acne, eczema or other skin problems

  • Improving skin hydration

  • Balancing hormones

Ingredients + Recipe for Momma Botanical Bath Soak

Yields: 1 mini 4 oz. mason jar

¼ cup Epsom salt

¼ cup ground oats

2 tbsp. baking soda

2 tsp. herbs & flowers

5 drops lavender essential oil

In a large bowl combine Epsom salt and baking soda

and essential oil. Mix well. Add the rest of the

ingredients. Give it another good mix and spoon

into a clean jar.

To use: add a few tbsp. to a warm bath.
