About the Instructors
Dr. Kilani, OBGYN
Dr. Mehrak Kilani is an obstetrician and gynecologist with over 25 years of experience. She graduated from the University of Tehran in 1993. After immigrating to Canada, she completed her residency at Western University in London, ON, where she graduated as an Ob/GYN for a second time.
Dr. Kilani specializes in general obstetrics and gynecology, including prenatal care, gynecologic surgery, colposcopy, well women care, and contraceptive counseling. She is a Fellow of Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
Dr. Kilani is well known for her quality and patient-centered care. Her passion is driven by the bonds she builds with her patients and the enjoyment she holds in keeping them healthy and well. In her spare time, Dr. Kilani enjoys traveling, painting, cooking, and reading books. She has been practicing at RVH since 2011. She lives in Barrie with her husband.

Kat Ennis, B.A.Hons, B.Ed, Certified Doula
Kat is the founder + owner of Mom Concierge and is on a mission to support and empower moms to parent their way because we all know there's no one right way to do this parenting thing! She is a certified birth + postpartum doula, childbirth + infant sleep educator, and also holds a B.A. Honours degree and a Bachelor of Education (Concurrent), both from Queen’s University. Kat has two awesome boys and a pup named Finlay who keep her and her incredible husband Jon on their toes.
Kat has had the privilege of supporting hundreds of families. She is incredibly proud to be part of the interdisciplinary team at Barrie Women's Health Centre.
